My husband and I dined here for date night and both the service and the food were superb. The restaurant had such a relaxed atmosphere, the cocktails were delicious and our food arrived quickly. What can I say… the food was delicious you have to try the “fish and chips”. I can’t wait to go back, thank you, St Leonard’s Team! And thank you Terry for making our evening so special with your friendly conversation.
Been to West malling so many times. So many great restaurants around here, but first time to come here!! Wow what a nice restaurant, the food was faultless come in timely manner as well. Service was also good. Very happy, highly recommended and we defo coming back.
I recently dined at St Leonard’s and was really disappointed with the pork dish I received. It was burnt to the point of being inedible, with the charred exterior overpowering any flavor the dish may have had. I can’t fathom why a chef would send this out to a customer—it’s as if there was no quality check whatsoever even from FOH Serving this to my table and not seeing it was inedible, but yet still charging me a hefty service charge to serve me the burnt meat from kitchen. This isn’t just a minor oversight, it’s a glaring mistake that shouldn’t happen in any professional kitchen. Chef take more pride in what you sending out I would have waited. It’s hard to trust a place that lets food like this reach the table.
What a true hidden gem this restaurant is!nFor me, this restaurant is worthy of a Michelin star. Superb experience.nCame here via a recommendation from a friend and was not disappointed.nThe restaurant is elegant and has a smart yet relaxed and welcoming atmosphere to it.nThe staff were all very welcoming and attentive, which added to the experience. They worked so well as a team and you could tell they all really enjoyed their work, which was great to see.nAs for the food, it was exceptional. I had the chicken thighs, crab starter, lamp rump main and caramel dessert. All were so delicious. Such great cookery.nThe wine list was excellent too and I loved seeing such good quality local wines on there. The Bacchus white and Pretty Argentinian Malbec were superb and great value. Cocktails were also great. I tried the rum punch which was lovely and definitely packed a punch!nAll in all a wonderful restaurant, with standout food, service and ambience.nThanks for looking after us and for such a great experience!nJason. I dined here with two others for my mother’s birthday. Fabulous vibe and dining room atmosphere with an at ease sense of calm from the FOH team. We all went for 3 course and started with some crackling puffs and caraway bread. These were both light and just enough. We all opted for a different roast of chicken, beef & lamb. All divine. The cookery is outstanding alongside a confident and not overly attentive service. The synergy of the restaurant was top tier. I had come across this place on Open Table and took a chance for my mums birthday. Happy I took it. Will definitely be back for a la carte options as the seasonality and complimentary flavours of each dish were all in status quo and well thought out by an experienced palette. Please do pass on thanks to the chefs!nnIt's rather refreshing experiencing fab service and cuisine outside of central London restaurants for once and gives me hope that our beloved hospitality industry is still thriving.nnIt’s certainly no secret that Terry’s secret rum punch will get the blood pumping.
