Excellent church, with a happy friendly congregation, recommended all to pass by, please be mindful parking is limited due to the area being small streets
This is the proud old church of an ancient Surrey village, there before the railway turned up and changed everything. However, the expansion of the local gene pool wasn't accompanied by swamping suburbia in this case unlike its neighbours and the old village survives. Worth a visit, but don't try and get here via the train station -it's nowhere near. Church is kept open.
Lovely little church in peaceful surroundings
St. Lawrence C of E Church is a wonder full Normand Church located in Effingham in the heart of the beautiful Surrey country side. My Parents and grand Parents and my Brother are at rest in the well grave yard. So I try to go there to pray as often as I can.
