Wife and I were married here and go every Sunday to mass. Love our church. We are really looking forward when they get the ceiling remodeled so we can worship back in the beautiful upper floor main church.
No frills Catholic Church. The upper Church is being renovated so services are held in the Church basement / lower Church
Had a flea market here, very hot. It was in the 90's almost 100 degrees. The sisters are very kind. Thank you Sister Daniel!
Got Christianed here when I was a baby & I attended Bible study on Mondays! I also volunteered to help teach the kindergarten Bible study so I say yes this is a great place even just to attend holy service on Sundays & to receive communion bread. Always clean! Lots of parking for church in the front especially & some in the back. A plus & Wawa really close by! A plus is next store & Wawa across the street! Across the other street on the corner behind the gas station is a hugh playground & tennis court & football field & baseball diamond! Sometimes the firemen bring their trucks to toot their horn. The Saint Lawrence school students go there for recess play & sometimes Highland Park students come meet with them to get to know their neighbors more for a picnic during lunch times. Always after school with parents permission & accompanied adults. No pets allowed. Only on the fields. Beware of fine sign located near the basketball courts! Have small kids playground near the bathrooms & older kids playground near the side of that building past the tennis courts entrance.
Excellent church leadership. Eager for the return to the upper chapel!
It was 5 yrs. ago today May 14, 2012-Mon. that I attended funeral service, late Mrs. Dolores Cannon nee Lilley, who was maternal aunt, mine at St. Laurence's R.C. Church, Upper Darby Twp., Del. Cnty., Penna. as she would eventually be laid to rest
I enjoyed my 1st day here, felt like am home back in .
A GREAT CONGREGATION OF CATHOLICS WHERE GOD'S PEOPLE HEAR AND LEARN TO BE FAITHFUL SERVANTS OF JESUS CHRIST !
Had my niece wedding there it was great.
