We have recently moved to Devizes and needed our driveway done. We were recommended to use KL & Sons Building Services who are a family run building company. Couldn’t have been in better hands and found them to be very friendly and professional who also kept you informed as the work progressed.They have done a 1st class job. We would highly recommend them and will use them for other projects around our home in the future. Thank you Kevin, Luke & Rikky.
We used KL & Sons at the end of 2021 for some fairly major rectification works to our house. Having had a few quotes, we were glad we went with them. We couldn’t fault them; it was an absolute pleasure to have them on site. All the guys were polite, professional and knowledgable, and did a great job, despite some unexpected complications along the way. Kevin regularly popped by to check how things were going, and kept me updated. We have had no problems with the works; the finished extension looks great, and the site was left clean and tidy throughout. Would recommend.
KL Builders: A truly professional firm PROS Scaffolding, materials and craftsmen all arrived on date agreed. Workmanship was excellent. Some work was identified as unnecessary, thus my bill reduced but unscheduled yet necessary work was identified and completed. Site care was excellent. 3 storey scaffolding was necessary and yet when completed there was no rubbish builders or otherwise. Noise pollution - none. Of course they had their radio on but there was never an attempt to replicate Glastonbury! PRICE Not the cheapest and not the dearest, excellent value. CONS They are very popular and you may have to wait - but it's worth it.
We contracted KL & Sons for our building and internal re-model project which delivered a kitchen / dining / family room extension and a utility room, shower room and cloakroom, and was completed in 2021. From the first engagement it was clear that KL & Sons put the customer at the heart of their business, Kevin kept to his commitments and delivered a clear well costed quote from which we were able to proceed. Throughout the build we were kept well informed, and the team went out of their way to minimise disruption and ensure provision of running water, drainage and temporary kitchen facilities, and separate site facilities were provided for the on-site team as part of the quote. Kevin and Leanne did a great job of managing the schedule, material supplies, their team and sub-contractors to keep the project moving forward at pace, and the whole team were a pleasure to have around. Special thanks must go to Gary and Dan who were the onsite team throughout for accommodating my sometimes very exacting requirements with skill and attention to detail. We are very pleased with the end result.
Kevin's team did a great job of reroofing my house a couple of years ago and have just finished reworking the large extension roof which had developed some leakage problems. It wasn't a straightforward repair but the guys came up with an excellent solution and I'm delighted with the end result. Highly recommend KL&Sons particularly Jason and Rick on this job, always a pleasure working with them.
Unlike other contractors in my experience, KL Building services are prompt to reply, entirely professional with both estimates and work executed and a pleasure to have working on your home. Kevin and his team managed to work to an exacting time frame and carried out repairs to my roof and chimneys of an excellent standard. I would be very happy to recommend them and look forward to being able to rely on them for future construction plans.
Kevin and his team did an excellent job on our kitchen refurb. Always pleasant to talk with, and kept me fully updated at every stage, checking with me before any decisions were made. Leanne is always really helpful too. KL & Son are my go to, and I've just asked them to come take a look at the next project!
I asked KL and Sons Building Services Ltd to give me a quotation for a small amount of work that I required in my house. Kevin, the owner, arrived punctually to look at what was needed. He listened carefully and recorded the information on his iPad. He produced a timely and well-presented quotation for my consideration. I had asked three firms to tender for the work, and this firm did not provide the cheapest quotation. Nevertheless, I accepted it because Kevin had made a good impression and I had confidence that he would do a good job. The work was done by Kevin’s son and a colleague who arrived on time and knew exactly what was required. The pair was clean and tidy and had a spotless and well-organised vehicle – always a good sign. They did the work quickly and efficiently and tidied up immaculately on completion. They were a pleasure to have around the property. I do not regret having gone for a more expensive quotation. I consider this to be an excellent firm which gave me an efficient and personal service.
Very pleased with KL& Sons Building Services. Following the installation of a boiler, the plumber found evidence of asbestos used in the construction. The original builder who we asked to carry out some home improvement wouldn't continue until we found someone to remove the asbestos. We were recommended KL & Son Building Services to remove the asbestos however they were also able to carry out the home improvement work as well. This was all carried out within days of the original request to a very high standard.
A fabulous extension and a pleasure to have around! Earlier this year Kevin and his team built us a fabulous oak and glass garden room extension to our cottage as well as completely refitting our kitchen and adding a patio area. We are extremely pleased with the end result which has been finished to a high standard. Everyone in the team was polite, friendly, good humoured and very responsive to our requests. And where we had questions or uncertainties, they immediately gave helpful advice and options. We were updated on tasks and progress most days and they definitely minimised the disruption to us by working in a particular order and communicating what was coming next. We benefited from their professionalism and expertise – and they made what could have been a very stressful experience into a pretty smooth one. We are happy to recommend them and would certainly use them again.
