Best church in Wantage to come to. In fact I was baptised here around 27 years ago Mum told me ages / like a good few possibly 7 years back. I've come here for the 6pm Vigil Mass mostly every 3-5 weeks since Saturday 4th August 2012, mostly by myself - occasionally with my brother Michael. But for the past few years I've been coming here by myself. Very welcome priest as mentioned on here :-! I can always rely on Stagecoach to get me to and from Abingdon and Wantage for this as well. Occasionally its Thames Travel I come with via Didcot to this church but it's always Stagecoach I return home with. The 19:55 S8 has been the regular bus home which has not once since 2012 not turned up! I use to live in Grove / Wantage til 2004/2005. So if you fancy taking yourself out of the busy Wantage Market Place and you need some piece and quiet time, head for St. John Vianney church just - mid it's near the traffic lights which these are located on Charlton Road / Garston Lane. You can't miss it :-!
I enjoyed every minute I was there. The readers of the readings and the choir was excellent. Amen
