Good multistory car park in the centre of Northampton, which is ideal for The Royal and Derngate Theatre.nnPlent of levels with generous parking spaces, that are well lit and make you feel safe. Prices are not that bad for parking.
The blue badge recognition function is absolutely awful. I found it impossible to use. Luckily. I was able to get out of my vehicle and call for assistance. They raised the barrier remotely.nnA very stressful and frightening experience.
Dreadful experience. Number plate was misread and no, the number plate wasn't dirty, and the machine would not accept the correct number, so when we arrived at the barrier it would not let us out. Pressed the help button several times while irate drivers queued behind us. Eventually a crackly voice was heard on the intercom and the barrier was raised. Note to self and others Don't park there again.
Cannot really make any comment because I have only managed to see level 12. Busy, nearly full by 10.00am apnd tight for turning to exit. There are separate lifts for even levels and odd nr levels.
Terribly organised. Parked here for the theatre. What a mistake. Effortless to get in and then queued for hours to leave. The barriers don’t lift up when you eventually reach the bottom as when you pay you only get 15 mins to leave and as your queuing for hours to leave your time elapses. This then requires a call to the operator. This takes several minutes to sort out and EVERY car is doing it. Just lift up the barriers for goodness sake and let everyone leave.
