This is a beautiful place to walk through and I've never felt unsafe there, even when walking alone. There are ancient woodland to explore, spaces to sit and rest and a local stables where you can walk through the field where the horses are grazing.
This is a beautiful site which features some ancient woodland - you can visit any time and enjoy. It's great for dog walkers, families and also for coming to alone. There's a lovely section you can walk through freely which has some horses grazing freely and there's a lot of streams and ponds to explore
Lovely place for all ages except when you meet selfish dog owners, we met a man with 4 dogs, two of witch were barking and ran towards us, my grand daughter jumped up on a fence and wouldn't come down she was so frightened. So if your going here, BEWARE OF UNRULY DOGS.
Use this place all the time to walk my clients dogs as they live very close by. Lots of wildlife and lovely to explore all year round. Worth a visit!
Beautiful place in the middle of the town. Natural habitat maintained in an ecological manner. Dog friendly and great for walks with 4 legs and 2 too. Enjoy.
Lived close to this wood as I was growing up and was one of my most visited places as a child. Its still the same as it was then. Great place for walks and kids.
Lovely woods to walk through very pretty well kept bit tricky with pushchair but can be done
Such a lovely place with many paths and tracks with a stream running through the centre of it..was disappointed to see dog mess left behind in so many spots as parents take their children their too and it's disgusting when I stood in it twice in two separate areas..a lovely place wether on your own,well in the dog or exercising the kids but please clean up after yourself,your kids and your dogs as it sets standards x
