Called to visit my son who is laid to rest there. The Church was open for visitors, i forgot how stunning it was inside. Got some lovely photos. Beautiful place and location. So happy my son is there
Beautiful ancient church, still used for regular worship, history and serenity envelope you.
Such a beautiful little church. It is worth it to see.
Went to the carol service last night. We were made so welcome. The service was carried out in Welsh and English allowing people to participate how they wished. The children from the local school sang and one of the dad's played the trumpet. It was beautiful. We stayed for sherry and mince pies and chatted to the locals afterwards. What a lovely little church. Great community spirit and welcoming people. Thank you from Jane and Kevin who are holidaying up the road.
My third great-grandmother Sarah Davis was married in the "previous" church on 20 November 1821 to Hugh Jones. Sarah was born in 1800 in Uppingham, Rutland. I shall be visiting the church next month when I'm on holiday in Anglesey.
Car park busy later hours have to park on grass.
