I attended Mass at St Gildas Roman Catholic Church in Rosneath on the Rosneath Peninsula and it was a most enjoyable experience.nMass at St Gildas is at 10am on a Sunday.nThere is a midweek mass this Tuesday 4th February at 10am which I am going to be attending.nThere is a car park to park your car.nYou enter the church through the brown doors on the corner of the church.nThere are two sets of brown doors.nIf the doors appear to be locked they are not and one set of doors will be open.nSt Gildas is a good sized church and there is plenty of setting inside.nThe Mass was conducted by Father Michael Maloney who conducted the Mass in a spiritual and professional manner with a few light hearted moments thrown in.nThe attendance at Mass was good given the inhospitable weather outside.nFather Maloney also covers St Mahew's Roman Catholic Church in Cardross and SS St Peter & Paul Roman Catholic Church in Arrochar and has responsibility for Faslane Naval Base.nAfter Mass I had a couple of cups of tea with a group of parishioners of the Church.nWe discussed the situation of the Roman Catholic Church in this area of West Scotland;hotels in the area to stay in; inter church relations between the Church of Scotland and the Roman Catholic Church in Scotland and the weather!nThey were a lovely group of people.nI would recommend a visit to St Gildas Roman Catholic Church in Rosneath on the Rosneath Peninsula in Scotland.
Looks a lovely little church with a big car space and beautiful views.
