Very nice old venue. Seats are comfortable, enough space for your legs. It's allowed to take drinks in the hall. Temperature was perfect too. The staff was very friendly. Recommended!!!
A good and quirky venue to watch a show. We saw a comedy act, and it was a good venue for this. A good bar area, and drinks could be taken to your seats, albeit as with most venues like this the drinks were pricey including a small bottle of water.nI'm not sure what it would be like to sit in the seats on the upper circle as it was very steep and looked like being in jail with all the guarding!
A delightful hidden gem of a theatre, I think often existing in the shadow of the Alhambra and Leeds Grand but it is a truly charming theatre. I’ve attended multiple events here over my lifetime, ranging from comedy and theatre to live music and awards evenings. Every event has been well executed. Make sure you add it to your choice of venue if you’re in the area.
It's a really nice venue !! Good bar , very efficient staff . So good ordering drinks for the interval but could do with updating the seats !! All in all very nice
Popped in for a coffee. Loved the signed posters from the artists who have performed at the theatre. Friendly staff, one who told us about Saltaire and offered parking outside his house.
