We've been registered at this practice for quite a few years and have had various work and regular check-ups to ensure that I remain listed with them for NHS treatment. Maria my dentist has only every been excellent in every way - what a wonderful person and I've only ever received the very best care and treatments from her. Since lockdown it does take a while to get an appointment and it's a challenge to get through on the phone, or get a response to repeat prescription emails, but I'm sure they are working hard to bring down the wait and always try to deal with emergency pain appointments quickly. Great NHS service; thank you! Keep up the good work.
I have used this practice for 18 years and I have always been very well looked after by Marie and her very experienced staff. Everyone that works there is very friendly and helpful. I recommend this dental practice highly. 5 stars all round and if I could give 10 stars I most definitely would. Thank you so much Marie for your care and expertise in your field.
My dentist Maria is excellent! She is professional, calming and very reassuring. I would definitely recommend this dental practice, as before Maria, I was seen by another great dentist, who was equally professional. They are so good, that I've been able to convince my husband - who hates the dentist - to join up too. Great NHS service; thank you!
1. The dentist and nurse decided to comment on my shoes and hairstyle, which was very unprofessional and unwelcoming. 2. Paid emergency appointment fee to be prescribed antibiotics and sent on my way. The dentist looked in my mouth for maybe 15 seconds. 3. When I explained that I couldn't afford a private procedure, they were extremely patronising and told me to "find the money" for it quite rudely. 4. I asked the receptionist how long their NHS waiting list was and was told they weren't even keeping one.
We went today, my daughter and me, were seen by Maria, who is a very good dentist, probably the best we have ever had. We were seen on time, she was very thorough, friendly, calm, reassuring. But most of all clearly very competent. Normally I dread being in the dentist chair, it always hurts when they blow air or water onto my gums, but today it was comfortable and the cleaning was painless. She used laser beam to clean the hard bits off. Even the x-rays went better than usual, easier. I am very pleased with the service. Thank you Maria
The receptionist on  duty on 6 December  2021 at about  12:40 pm was unprofessional ,rude  and prejudiced. As l haven't been at the practice for years  ,  I went in to check on  my  registration status,  and was told  firstly, that  l was no longer NHS registered,   but registered as a private patient.  As l questioned this, the receptionist then changed to say  my registration had been cancelled , that "they were not to see me anymore " and  this  had allegedly been communicated to me.  All this ,  while she continued doing something else, and not bothering to make eye contact . As l began to query this allegation, the moment l said calmly " that's strange..... " She rudely cut in,  and dismissively said in a sharp tone " no its not  is strange... then l let her finish her sentence.  When she was done,  l questioned her professionalism in interrupting me to invalidate my customer experience without  hearing  my full query out. She became defensive about her conduct then, in the same breath , invited me, in a non chalant manner, to complete my question . Based on this mixed message, I then questioned her if , were she in my shoes, she would feel comfortable to continue and enquire, trusting she would get appropriate answers, if l was the one giving her the attitude  was giving me.  She said she didn't see anything wrong with her customer service. that  " lts alright' .  Immediately another client walked in and l deliberately repeated the conversation just to see if she would  continue with her conduct.  Only then did she say"  l am sorry you feel that way about my customer  service "  and asked if l could  proceed  with  my query. I asked if she was the only receptionist  working  there and she said no.  I then said  l would  return  on another  day to speak to someone else.  In equality diversity and inclusion training, this receptionist' s conduct is a  classic example of the covert discriminative micro aggression that  alienate  people of diverse backgrounds and health  dispositions. Totally unacceptable in a health practice
Apart from hardly ever being on time, probably due to being very busy, they are the best dentist I've used in recent times. My dentist is the very friendly Polish lady. I've had some butchers in the past and she is very gentle when cleaning, dental work.
Myself and my children, had appointments today. It's very hard to find an NHS dentist, but we have at last. Overall a good experience. All staff seemed very friendly. Would recommend. Dentist explained everything well. Further appointments already booked.
Really friendly and welcoming staff. I was seen on time and my treatment filling was a pain free experience. I don't like going to the dentist but St George's make the whole experience a lot more bearable.
I had an appointment this morning, and while the receptionist was nice and welcoming enough, the dentist himself was an absolute disappointment. Seeing as two of my teeth were discoloured, I needed a quick check up and clean. Did I get it? No. The dentist merely poked his fingers in and after five minutes of telling him which teeth I was worried about, he said to floss, lower my tea intake and eat on the other side of my mouth. £18 for a quick poke and obvious advice. Thanks alot. NOT!
