Beautiful place with lovely surroundings, the abbey, a watermill & lake. The almond croissants were another level.. melt in mouth. Nice for a lighter breakfast. Nice courtyard style outdoor area to enjoy the sun.
Great little cafe and gift shop next door to the Abbey. Lovely staff serving great coffee and cakes. Preserves and chutneys along with other local delights on sale. Also a small gallery on site too. Well worth a look.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
Great place for a coffee in Abbey/Millpond setting with good farmers market on Tuesdays. Cosy inside with local gifts and museum. Friendly staff. Homemade cakes. Only disappointment was cappuccino being served in cardboard cup when seated inside; normally crockery.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo wait
My son was asked to go to the Cach House on St Davids day 2024 to entertain the customers which he has done many times before. The staff has changed in the past few months and the welcome this time was far from what we were use to. My son gives his time free of charge and this time we had to pay for any refreshments including our son's. To add insult one of the staff members came over twice and asked our son to put the volume down which was in no way excessive. They also kept the radio they had in the background on whilst he was playing. They had prepared cawl, but our son was not offered any of that either. A great letdown as we could easily have been somewhere else to celebrate St Davids Day. Sorry Coach House but please don't ask us again, as you may be offended by a refusal.
A wonderful find! Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent coffee and outstanding almond croissant and pain au chocolat. Don't miss the small exhibition of finds from the abbey! The abbey itself is well worth some timeVisited onWeekday
An excellent cafe providing tasty food full of fresh ingredients and tasteful dressings. The coffee is tasty and nice to have a flat white that is not served in a thimble. The staff are really friendly and the setting is cosy. There are nice displays of craft work from local artisans and a small museum recording the history of the Abbey. Well worth a visit.
Took an hour to get 4 cakes and 3 coffees. Had to ask twice for 3 of the cakes after waiting almost an hour. They served people who came in after us first. Yes they were busy and somewhat understaffed, but this was terrible service.Visited onWeekendWait timeUp to 10 min
Great little tea room, nice welcome and dog friendly too. Lovely cakes and coffee too
Delightful village cafe, coffee shop, tearoom, museum, art gallery and craft shop. The food is so delicious and the staff are really friendly and helpful. If you're visiting St Dogmaels, a trip to the ruined Abbey is a must, followed by a visit to the Coach House. You won't be disappointed Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
Crossiant tasty. Coffee just alright. They use disposable cups plates cutlery even if you're eating in, which is pretty wasteful.
