A well priced car park in a useful location for the Quadrant Shopping Centre and general town centre.nBlue badge holders do have to pay, but at 50% of standard rates.nOther nearby car parks are more expensive, so this one is worth noting.
Filled up by midday and signs unclear. Nearly went to another car park and maybe that would have been better as it was not involved in construction work which limited the stairs to use to the pay station here. Poor signage to the level to pay. Easy enough to walk to the waterfront museum.
A horrible grotty car park with small parking spaces in a rough area of the city. It is not straightforward how to pay - unlike most modern multi-storey car parks. Yet, there are plenty of civil enforcement officers wandering around ready to issue tickets.
Central location but cramped spaces make parking difficult. Serious health and safety concerns with scattered debris. Stairs and exits reek of urine, littered with signs of drug use. Ticket machines are poorly placed. Positively, there are many disabled spaces, though they are often unused, causing frustration during peak times. Avoid parking here.
St. David's seems to be the main car park in Swansea but you can see why as its just off the main road as you drive into the city and the fact its the best one, and cheapest aswell nearest to all the main amenities and shops. Not the cleanest as its and old looking car park and you may find with the new massive cars and SUV's that it is very tight making a turn to go up and round onto the next level so take care as you manovere. The pay machine when we went wasnt taking payments and you had to download the app... Along with all the other frustrated people having to do the same. When we did get it we paid for 24hrs. The annoying thing was, was that we needed to extend it but the app wouldn't allow it until the time period was reached the next day which was awkward as we had to be on the ball waiting for it to expire which was a pain as we had things to do. The app I suppose is a good idea but what about older people who aren't tech savvy? What would they do if the machine wasn't taking cash or card? That needs to be addressed. Apart from that it seemed a secure place to park but it's main plus points is it's proximity to everything.
