Fabulous walk starting from Whitesands beach carpark with stunning scenery up and over St Davids Head. Perfect peace and tranquility.
Breathtaking. Perfect walks, undulating, and not too boring! Combined with stunning views, this is deffo the place to do a staycation.
Like much of the Wales Coast Path, Saint David's Head offers absolutely stunning views. The paths here can be narrow in parts and are often muddy, so bring good hiking shoes, but the views are well worth it.
As well as the more obvious, documented locations on Google Maps why not look out for the WW1 Submarine Stethoscope, there's a picture on my photos which looks like a piece of terracotta drainpipe running down off the headland you'll need to walk in a NE direction along the coastal path to see it into the sea. Apparently a listening device was placed inside the pipe probably a medical stethoscope and a constant watch as required to listen for submarines. Oddly-enough no-one ever recorded hearing a submarine!
Beautiful scenery with good views and plenty of birds, butterflies, and flowers. A pleasant walk from Whitesands Bay.
