If it was possible to rate this vet higher, I would. Took my gerbil here recently with a distended abdomen after another veterinarian suggested we seek more specialist help. The team were lovey and did the surgery the same day! The after care has been amazing and it was great to see the whole team be so invested in my gerbil’s wellbeing. Even during an out of hours appointment, the team were super friendly, informative, and professional.
A very professional practice team. Very knowledgeable + they inform the client of the various options + update during an operation if there are decisions to be made. Excellent care and after care. My animals absolutely trust everyone there.
Excellent, compassionate practice that puts the animal’s well-being above making money. Our Collie could not have had better care.
Would not recommend. This is my own opinion. Having used these vets for many years now, we recently decided, long overdue, to change vets due to the owner being one of the most arrogant and rude people I have come across. Not only that, the way he manhandled our pet was the last straw. Total lack of compassion. Disinterested, abrupt and mannerless; this wasn’t the first time but I turned a blind eye previously. I have heard other people speak similarly but I like to make my own mind up. Don’t know what his problem is, but we have now found a much more compassionate and friendly local vets surgery.
We love all of the folks that work here, and we know that we can always count on the staff. We have gone to both the Perranporth and the Truro branches for years, and we appreciate their kindness, patience, and caring for our slightly crazy, totally needy little furry ones.
I have a 5 month old Labrador and he’s been poorly twice, St Clement was amazing. They all made us feel very welcome and confident in their advice and treatment. I really liked the fact that they tried the smaller things to make him better rather than diving straight in with scans and expensive tests, they really seem to care about your animals, they even remembered his name! The Vets is easy to find and is very clean, they are very good with the Covid restrictions too. I am so glad we chose to register my puppy here and would highly recommend them.
DO NOT RECOMMEND! After several visits we have decided never to take our dog back again! We are fed up of constant mishandling/mistreatment from the arrogant vets there who are more concerned about making you feel small, stupid and a bad owner than they are about actually treating your pet! Last year she was seen by Chris who did her boosters, we were absolutely astonished when he came out and just grabbed her from behind and picked her up which caused her great distress he rushed her into the room and was so rough with her!! We were in and out in 5 minutes and we were left confused and angry at the whole experience! I now understand all the other negative reviews about him Her recent appointment i felt like they just didn't want to listen to me, she was handled poorly again she almost fell off the table twice! I had to catch her! She was diagnosed with dry eye and they prescribed me a minute tube of ointment 3.5g which cost me £88! This wasn't explained to me in advance nor was I told that this will be an ongoing condition. I assumed this would clear it up! I feel fobbed off everytime I go and just feel like I want to cry every time I leave!
Genuinely disgusted how I was treated by Chris. My pug sadly had to get put to sleep and there was no sympathy there what so ever, I was absolutely in bits and at the time all he cared about was the money. I was not asked or given the option of having 5 minutes with her before he put her to sleep. Disgusting arrogant man, and I am not shocked at all now though after reading how many terrible reviews there are about him. The young girl on reception was so lovely and you could tell she genuinely cared. It’s quite obvious Chris is in business for the money and not the care of animals.
Excellent friendly staff who took great care of our boy.
Lovely, helpful staff who were professional and very friendly. Had to take my dog here whilst on holiday and can’t recommend enough.
