Took 20 Explorer Scouts towards end of the week for bath swim. Does what it says on tin decent pool for 50 minute session water was same colour as we found it!nnThank you to the team there for safe, clean, fun session in pool
Staff are lovely, however the swimming area was filthy. Not only do you walk filth into the pool, there is green slippy algae around the pool that needs a good scrub. The floats of the pool are breaking off and floating in the pool too. The worst bit was the the filthy toilets and the filthy changing room floor. I complained to the manager who gave me a free soft play voucher. We did not enjoy this experience and would not recommend nor go back again.
Cool place with great slides. My 2.5 year old loves it. Even just for an hour. A tad pricey but great fun. And it's very close to train station. Near ther aslo you can get another 30 mins play in a quite cute park with swings and carousel.
Gym swim classes activities for children bit of everything. My only gripe when you want to go some of the equipment the younger men in groups do seem to hover over multiple equipment and so it’s just not clear if it’s being used and they are quite intimidating in bulk I’d imagine for some people to ask if they are using. But they are friendly and if you smile and ask they are great but it’s the perception. I feel as if there could be a completely separate weight room too. For me having used multiple gyms this isn’t my top rated. But fantastic for which it offers. :
The staff are very friendly and Adele who gave me my induction is just so lovely and approachable. The free weights area could be a lot bigger considering it's a leisure centre. The cafe could have more healthy options considering people go here to improve their mental and physical health. Something to consider as to me it doesn't make sense. Do a workout, eat unnutritious food? It's also a shame there isn't a scheme like snap fitness does where they pay for your first 2 hours of parking as it adds to the cost.
