Lovely beach. Even at high tide the sea was really far out though, so not great if you want to paddle, but the sand is very nice and pretty clean, and lots of shells to find and decorate sandcastles with.
One of my favourite places with a beautiful beach ideal for these times of social distancing. PLEASE TAKE YOUR RUBBISH AWAY!
I think its shut. Maybe forever? I like piers for the seaside look and feel but prefer them open and tuppence arcades running.
Lovely little pier with slot machine area, bracing walk along the prom, visit the statue of Les Dawson and fish and chips
Went to the chippy. Long queue possibly down to covid 19 restrictions. Although may just be busy due to excellent quality food. Very impressed.
Great value fairground for little kids. Free splash park is awesome. Lovely gardens. Mini train too. My kids love it here. Playground is clean and in good condition.
We love it here. So clean, calm and pretty. Had an amazing walk with my 2 dogs. Would definitely recommend
Lovely quintessential old British seaside pier, nice place to rest your legs and get rid of your loose change. I’m really hoping someone can help me though as we think my Granddaughter left her favourite unicorn coat there last Sunday. So if by any chance anyone sees this and found it can you please contact me. Thanks in advance
The pier has so much to offer. Friendly staff at the cafe with great food. Perfect place to bring the children to the sandy beach.
