Saint Andrew's is a warm and welcoming church community, committed to its mission to be at the heart of things, with a range of spiritual, fellowship and cultural activities to meet the needs of all. - Saint Andrews is great for families - there is a ministry for children as part of its Sunday services as well as family services and events, and a children's choir. - For those who wish to explore and develop their faith, Rev Nay and her team build plenty of opportunities into the regular worship life of the church as well as offering house groups, retreats and regular contemplative Julian Group meetings. - There is a rich musical tradition with a beautiful church choir mixing classical and more contemporary church music , as well as an open to all comers adult community choir. - The church cafe is open Monday to Saturday providing a great spot for tea and cake with friends or family. - Or if you need time to reflect or pray you can light a candle, leave a prayer on the board, or speak to one of the lay chaplains who are in the church every day. Weekday evenings Saint Andrew's hosts a range of musical and cultural events.

Enjoyed a first rate carol service yesterday evening. A beautiful and well-managed church, friendly and welcoming staff and a real asset to the community.

St Andrew is a lovely church and is unique with two ringable peals of bells, a 24 cwt peal of eight in the NE tower, and a 9 cwt peal of 5 in the West tower. An active band makes good use of both peals, but not both at the same time! Visiting ringers are welcome to join in with us.

Buzzing vibrant church with lots going on for young and old. Beautiful building and welcoming cafe. Closely involved in town centre community with a growing cultural programme. Everybody at the church tries to be welcoming and supportive to all, no matter your situation.
