I don't actually go into the lovely church because I go to visit my dad's family grave and my mum is with my dad aswel, it's so nice and peaceful xx
Visited the church hall for a great visit to the Connect the Tots session
Albeit I don't live in Longton anymore, but live not too far away, I was christened, confirmed and married at this church, it holds a very special place in my heart, it's very beautiful & very welcoming.
Churches are a matter of personal taste, but it's big and warm with a sound system including hearing loop and a screen with the words of hymns etc appearing when needed. There is a modern church hall next door with scout troop, guides, cubs, brownies etc and also a thriving amateur dramatic group.
Checking headstones maintained by the CWGC - several in this churchyard, and most needing very little cleaning this time.
Can't say enough about this church. Really nice building and grounds.
Lovely church. Choir during the wedding ceremony was lovely.
Heaven on earth - wonderfully welcoming & supportive Church & congregation.
