Arrived in Whitchurch after 5pm to find St Alkmunds Church was still open. Had a quick look round before it was closed for the evening. It has a beautiful interior especially the altar and East window. Beautiful church, the stained glass windows are wonderful, the Last Supper picture is perfectly placed and I had the church to myself

Amazing church with brilliant views over Whitchurch. The top of the Church is the highest point in Whitchurch! Definitely worth checking out when they have tours on!

I absolutely adore this church. I'm not a church goer but I often come in to sit and clear my mind. The architecture and interior is beautiful. Wonderful information inside also. Do visit, there is a wonderful history and lots to learn.
