The cathedral is huge and impressive with many episodes in its history. We were met by a greeter who immediately explained to us what was available and provided us with printed information. I was very impressed and I felt very welcome. The cathedral has an incredibly long nave. While we wandered around absorbing the history there was a choral performance which made everything feel very Christmassy. I don't feel I saw it all and I would love to go back.
A beautiful and very large Cathedral. Extremely interesting. Pleasantly surprised. Would recommend a visit.
St Albans Cathedral is huge and really beautiful. I didn’t expect it to be that big inside. It felt calm but still impressive. They even had activities for kids, which was nice and made it feel welcoming. Tickets were not necessary, you can just walk in and enjoy it.
Really good architecture. Very well maintained and is very huge.nnSt Albans as history goes is the person who got converted to Christianity and was executed by the Romans for changing the belief from their god.
A magnificent architectural with loads of history and story. We visited in a weekday thus not crowded at all. You will be embraced by a deep sense of peace and afford to slow down to appreciate the view around you. Worth a visit together with the town.
