Nice Hindu temple in Nottingham. Parking available on temple site or on adjoining streets. Friendly community of volunteers with prasadam late on most evenings. Traditional style South Indian temple inside.
I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Sri Thurkkai Amman temple in Beeston, run by a Tamil community, and it was a truly remarkable experience. The temple was beautifully decorated with colorful flowers and intricate sculptures of deities, creating a serene and peaceful environment that immediately put me at ease.nnThe temple was buzzing with activity, as people of all ages and backgrounds came together to offer their prayers and seek blessings. The priests were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, and they took the time to explain the significance of each ritual and ceremony to us in detail.nnOverall, my visit to the Amman temple was a wonderful and enriching experience. I would highly recommend a visit to anyone who is looking for an authentic south Indian temple.
Very calm and relaxing atmosphere. The people serving there are very gentle mannered.. especially the Pujari is very good and according to the needs of the people who come there they do the Puja Karma with a nice smile. Food is given there on special days. Very tasty food
We have recently visited this temple and we are blessed to be part of 10th yr annual celebration and performed khumbabhishekam . Temple just took us back home and truly amazing feeling being here.nWe went for a simple Darshan and however with the ambience we spent the entire day there..nTruly I feel amman here leaves you with blessed feeling.nManagement, temple priest and all others are wonderful people and made everyone feel home .nWe will visit again.nNote to mngmt. Would be great if you post regular updates on upcoming events in temple.
It's in a housing estate and can be difficult to identify on the dark evenings. It's a converted church. Inside is a traditional South Indian temple. It gives the same vibes. Pooja was carried out to the traditional standards. Dance by devotees was an additional bonus.
