My favorite restaurant in Tooting My partner and I have been coming here on and off for some thirty years And in all that time we have only had one bad meal. Head chiefs have come and gone in that time and the menu changed several times but on the whole a thumbs up. The restaurant still gives a preferable leaning towards the take out customer Which can be annoying if you are eating in and waiting over 25 minutes for your first course to arrive What I personally like is that the portions are not huge nor small the Sree Krishna have cairfully though this dilemma out as SOME establishments go over board, leaving you to leave a large amount untouched or you are left feeling done by and ripped off. There is also a wide range of Indian deserts and not just kalfi. on offer here Do try one you may be pleasently surprised. Post scrip Either closed for a revamp or closed for good 1-5-2018
Absolutely delicious food and excellent customer service. Great selections of cocktails!
Genuine wide variety of flavours, great range of dishes and varying levels of spice. Affordable and good quality. Very friendly staff and a laid back atmosphere. Also spotlessly clean and food is really a well presented. Could be improved with a little bit of background music to give it a slightly more premium and comfortable feeling as it can be a bit too quiet. Chicken Dupiaza is highly recommended.
8 of us ate there after doing Xmas decorations again at hospital. We returned this year after enjoying it so much in the past. Very good attentive service and the food was thoroughly enjoyed by all. Our varied tastes were well catered for. Highly recommended food at a very reasonable price.
The food was, as always, wonderful, but the service left a lot to be desired. We waited 75 minutes and still no dinner. It did arrive, luke warm, after we asked when it would appear. But during this time, many take-away dinners were collected, obviously taking precedence. My polite email was still unanswered after a week.
This has to be one of the worst meals I've ever eaten. Thd food was substandard, and that's a generous assessment, and the service was terrible! No one checked on us, we repeatedly said 'excuse me', I eventually went to the bar to ask for some yoghurt our food was so spicy we couldn't eat it, and was told 'no, I need time'!!? Who talks to customers like that? Genuinely appalled by this place.
I ordered food for 20 invitees for my daugters birthday party and was a bit nervous since we never tried this restaurant before The food was top quality and much tastier . We had an excellent feedback from everyone. The feedback for chicken curry and paratta was superb . I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who prefer delicious south Indian food.
Average food but extremely arrogant and rude staff. Asked if the Somosas come with any chutneys and was rudely told he'd give me some tomotoe ketchup. I was more than happy to purchase the chutneys separately which I did.
Ordered dansak, kurma korma, samosas and bhaji's as a take away from uber eats. Perhaps some of the worst food I've had, ever. The dansak is tasteless, the kurma tasted like nothing but oil which was confirmed after being left on my plate for a few minutes. The oil was dripping from the food. We also ordered some spinach and mushroom which somehow tasted like fish? I don't understand how it's possible for a restaurant to serve such bad food. Hopefully the dining in experience is better than delivery. We ended up throwing most of our food into the bin.
Tasty food. Not greasy and not too creamy. Different curries taste very different which I like unlike a lot of Anglicised places nearby. Staff are very nice. Could do with some music though.
