AVOID AT ALL COSTS!! Absolutely disgusting of a company who charged us an obscene amount for not even an hour of work and an additional 2 hours for "travel expenses" to and from a job site 10 minutes outside of Harrogate. I had a leaky flexi pipe that just need replacing which only takes 15 minutes at most to fix and yet we were charged for 3 hours labour plus the parts and VAT on top. When we raised the dispute over the invoice, Jason the owner got aggressive and in the end, my boyfriend had to call the police and reported the incident after Jason threatened my boyfriend and my property. There is a reason why they are available at short notice and its because they are absolute cowboy tradesmen. AVOID IF YOU CAN!
Very disappointing. Poor Customer Service/Aftercare, after a promising start. Came out to job quickly and did a fair job for a fair price. But left a slight leak/drip on the system. Left us hanging several times after arranging to come and check their work and simple fix "no problem". Each time they confirmed that they would to return to site, they never showed up. Before and after Christmas, their phones were off and/or messages were ignored until new year, when the original review got their attention and they became threatening legal action if we didn't delete, retract or edit the poor review. Have edited this review accordingly hence poor 1 star rating. Could've been a solid 4 if they'd just tweaked whatever was erroneous on any of the occasions they said they would be there. NB* 16/02/19: We notice that they have now replied and despite having been sent all of the original chat transcripts which show exactly when they were contacted regarding the leak, when and how many times they failed to turn up to fix the leak and, for how long they ignored us, they continue to defy the facts of the matter. Our advice is to avoid altogether, or you may get this carry-on... As above, they could have received a much better review if they hadn't ignored us, hadn't made appointments which they didn't keep without explanation or apology and if they had spent as much time and effort in fixing the leak, as they have done with the legal threats and misleading and factually incorrect versions of events in their reply to our review. We have yet to receive our Gas Commissioning Certificate which we were promised after the works, despite paying promptly and in good faith despite finding the small leak. Not worth the hassle & poor after care service. Would give zero stars if possible.
Big thanks to Jason and the team for getting my boiler problems rectified so quickly. Engineer came within 30 Mins, and took the time to listen and fully understand the issue. All work was carried out professionally and to a high quality standard.
