My friend and I did a beginners pottery wheel workshop and it was so much fun! Alice was an amazing teacher and really patience with us and even showed my friend how to use the wheel as a lefty. I would definitely recommend!!
If you’ve been looking for a sign to pop in to Trylla, this is it. There’s nothing like it. Alice is absolutely brilliant and actually saved Christmas by firing a present for us when our original kiln plans fell through. Not only that, the store is a crafty haven, and actually sells ceramics supplies!? Amazing. Thank you for the batt wash and thermocoupling tips- you’ve changed our lives. Long live Trylla!
Got a mental teddy bear from here today from the very gifted Alice... It's always nice to see creativity showcased. Will most definitely be going again.
I did the beginners day pottery course with Alice in November and it was such a lovely lovely experience! Alice is a brilliant teacher and is clearly passionate about ceramics and her independent business. The course was easy to book on to, she keeps the class to a small number to allow for lots of 1-1 support and the whole experience felt relaxing and creative. Thank you Alice, you are fab! xx
I booked a private pottery session at Trylla with Alice for my boyfriend and I and we had a fantastic time. Alice is absolutely lovely and has the patience of a saint! She made the whole experience fun, whilst teaching us what to do we'd never done it before. Her shop is lovely and the whole experience was really enjoyable. Highly recommend for anybody interested in pottery!
My girlfriend and I booked with Alice for a private pottery wheel experience through Tobooka and I couldn't ask for anything more. We had the whole studio to ourselves. We started off with a practise pot and Alice walked us through different skills and techniques on the wheel. She was very patient with us and it was great fun! Would highly recommend the pottery wheel experience to anyone looking for a date idea in Bristol.
Just a fantastic experience! Alice is such a great teacher - she has filled me with the confidence I need to do more pottery.
We went to a private wheel lesson and it was absolutely amazing! Alice is so cheerful, helpful and made it such a fun evening for us. Great value, perfect for making little unique presents for friends and family!
Knowledgeable teacher, but found the experience to be lacking… I attended the taster session, which felt rushed - I’d have preferred to have more time to be ‘in the moment’ with the process, even if it meant making fewer pieces. All felt a bit chaotic and lacking in a personal touch.
3 weeks course, introduction to Ceramics - I had an amazing time! Alice is friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. She created a relaxed and encouraging atmosphere and I felt like I had time to learn and be creative. I recommend Trylla wholeheartedly : Thanks Alice!
