Love love love squires! The staff are super friendly and are always quick to lend a helping hand. I've never come here and left empty handed.. I'm still not sure whether this is a good or bad thing. I go in there for spagnam moss and come out it 2 begonias, an adasonii and whatever else. The plants I buy from here are always healthy and acclimatise really well to my home. Would definitely recommend
Very clean and a good display of food. They come to the table for the order. Very convenient but you need to reserve the seat in advance. Otherwise there are not many seat left. You can see the plants which make you pleased and happy for whole day. Strongly recommend!
What a delightful Garden Centre. The breakfast was lovely. I had poached eggs, hashbrown, avo and mushrooms. We do wish that they offered fries as my little one loves having that with baked beans when we eat out for breakfast. I do think that the poached eggs had a very vinegar taste which was bit too much for me, next time I'll try something different. Overall very enjoyable. We loved the retail side, too! Some amazing things to get as gifts and the flowers are beautiful!
One of my favourite garden centres, especially during summer when the cafe is open outdoors and the full outside section is used to display planting, trees and summer houses. Great location for a garden centre as well.
Called in solely for breakfast. It was OK. Staff are friendly but thin on the ground, more staff needed to speed up the service. Sausages were off the menu on the day I was there which is annoying as they contribute heavily to a cooked breakfast! Prices OK, breakfasts a bit on the small side for me but probably OK for the older folk. Lacking a bit of atmosphere and it was cold in the restaurant but in fairness it is a garden centre so I guess they can't warm it up too much!
Had a light lunch. Enjoyed what I had. Was asked to move from chosen seating as we were 2 and benches apparently reserved for 3 or more people. Breakfast served to 11 30 and lunch service starts at 12.30 so arriving in between not a good idea!! Did get a coffee to fill the space.
I would avoid the cafe. Toasts few months ago were from good quality wholegrain bread baked locally. Thick and tasty. What we got this time around was what look like a Tesco value wholegrain bread in thin slices. 2 of them were £2.95- Well overpriced for what it was. Breakfast items were not far from the bread- mushrooms were undercooked and still with the earth particles all over them. Bacon was also undercooked and luke warm... eggs was the only edible thing.. just!
Three of us had afternoon tea at long Ditton Squires. It was excellent with a good selection of savoury and sweet.,such as scones sandwiches and cakes. I would like to thank the staff, Carol, Alex, and Steph.
Nice garden centre. Booked to paint a brid, didn't mention that we should book the cafe as well. Staff all on the shop floor however cafe is closed if you haven't booked due to a shortage of staff - there still living on covid 19 pandemic!
A well run garden centre with great selection of plants and garden accessories. Experienced and helpful staff plus good parking facilities. Local cafe and easy parking is a bonus. During lockdown 2020/2021 and when able to be open they have been a godsend, being able to walk round the garden and purchase plants has enabled people to at least keep a resemblance of a normal life.
