Love this place and even enjoy popping in just to browse and make my next shopping list. I've many beautiful flowering plants which have flourished. Can't wait for my Tulips to blossom next April. Really delicious cakes too!
We love the cafe, for a midday lunch. It's quiet and relaxing. Food is good and coffee is lovely. We enjoy a stroll around after and it never disappoints
Came here for a morning coffee and breakfast. Ther have great coffee here. I believe it's Illy. The food is VERY expensive over £6 for 1 scrambled egg and 1 slice of toast. They do have some very nice teas also. Can be quite a wait if they're busy.
My beloved plant was dying and I had no idea why, so I took a few diseased leaves to Grace at Squires. She was amazing. She diagnosed the problem and asked me to bring in the whole plant to her. She cleaned the roots and repotted it for me. I was so impressed with her service, I took in another plant which had some mysterious white patches. Grace truly loves plants and is so knowledgeable. Once she rehabilitated them, she taught me how to care for them. Such a wonderful service! If you have sick plants at home, take the leaves/ stems to Grace - she's a real life plant Doctor!!
The lady at the counter asked us to wait at a table and said someone would be with us shortly. We waited 10 minutes and no one came. I then noticed a young lady at the counter on her mobile phone texting, but still no one attended to our table. After 12 minutes, I went back to the counter to request service. At that point, they had no choice but to serve us. Even then, it took 15 minutes and we were still waiting for our order. The service was very slow and clearly needs improvement.
