We visited yesterday as are having a few issues with our olive tree. We were assisted by a lovely man named Brian who was extremely helpful. He patiently talked through the issues with us, looked at the pictures we had taken of our ailing tree and even took the time to show us where everything was to that we needed to purchase to solve the problem. We were so happy to receive such fantastic customer service and were very grateful for his help. The garden centre itself has a wonderful selection of indoor and outdoor items, gifts, tableware, a fabulous range of specialty foods and a lovely cafe. We feel very lucky to have such a wonderful place on our doorstep and will definitely be back again! Thank you Squires and in particular, the lovely Brian! Xx
Amazing lunch served today thank you. Was looking for a Mrs jingles and a very kind store colleague overheard me and found the larger Mrs jingles. Made my day so thank you. Your store beautifully decorated
This review covers the Aquatic Centre + Cafe/Restaurant areas only. We had been told the aquatic centre had recently been renovated so we took my 4yr old to visit as we were passing anyway. To be honest we were left feeling a bit underwhelmed by it, nothing particularly stand-out about it and a bit unfinished in places. Lots of fish to choose from and associated stuff, just no wow factor. The cafe was ok, a bit expensive but they always are at these type of places. Hot chocolate was very nice. Waiting time was quite long so make sure you leave enough time… this is probably down to staff shortages as they seemed very busy but friendly enough.
Like the other Squires Garden Centres good selection of indoor and outdoor things. Friendly staff. The downside while the Cafe Bar staff were friendly we had to wait 25 minutes to order something as only one staff member was taking the orders and for a Saturday lunch time I think they need to have at least two staff members to do this regularly.
Went to the cafe hoping for lunch only to join a queue of already 8 people waiting to be seated. Empty tables in abundance but no staff to facilitate. Waited there for 10-15 minutes and then gave up. We drove a few miles on to another garden centre that had an inkling of customer service.
Good selection of fish and pond supplies, loads of shopping opportunities for books, clothes and gifts. There is also a restaurant serving light lunches and ice cream. Service is not completely efficient in restaurant, but the food offer is good.
I went to the Aquatics section of Squires because I am thinking about getting a big fish tank. There was so much from which to choose and the members of staff were polite and patient because I had lots of questions. Although I didn't purchase anything as the purpose of my visit was to gather information, I shall return after I have finished planning what to purchase. I am slightly elderly and I was so glad the response was not to download some silly app, which has often been my experience when I have gone shopping for things.
First time I have been to this Squires, near Leatherhead. Car Park was full, a good sign! I suppose everyone like ourselves, 3 ex colleagues, were heading for the Christmas Lunch. This was also my first Christmas Lunch for 2022 and I have to say, I was somewhat disappointed. The contents of the lunch were typically Christmasy, but were not piping hot! Also, in the Cafe area of Squires is was definitely cold!
Had a very nice tea and cake in the waiter/waitress service cafe. The cake was definitely freshly made. Great selection of plants of course.
Lovely garden centre and cafe/restaurant Having a refurbished at the moment but due to be finished in the coming weeks so not a large space for hot drinks and limited treats to eat.
