Made my first visit here today and what a place to visit. The staff are as friendly as they come, the facilities are spot on and clean. The food was 1st class eat every bit on my plate. I even eat the mushrooms and I don’t like mushrooms. The atmosphere is amazing say with a cup of tea letting my all day breakfast settle watching the bike come and go. Gives you that not a care in the world feeling. If you like your bikes, your food or both then this is well worth a Visit.
me and my partner quite frequently order the carvery from this amazing cafe and do not have one bad word to say about it. the portions are massive, you get a ton of meat which is always perfectly cooked and tender. all of the trimmings are also delicious too! one takeaway portion could probably feed two people if done right, but me and my partner are too greedy so we always get one each
It's disappointing that food was off at 7.30pm. Shame as we'd ridden 65 sMiles to get there - like we have done loads of times. Lots of people there with some awesome bikes, so not all lost.Service: 3/5
A great place for bikers to meet. The coffee is good and the crowds are welcoming. I was fortunate not to see any scumbags on 50cc lawnmowers racing up and down the road without helmets or number plates. Parking: Limited spots for cars, but plenty of motorbike spots.
Good place to stop off on the bike. Plenty of parking and good menu. But why do so many bikers always feel the need to razz and flog their bikes everywhere, like in car parks!? We’ve all got fast bikes we don’t need another demo! ride safe.Food: 4/5
Great to meet friends and customers. Calling in after a ride out or that afternoon or evening run. Always a fantastic mixture of all types of bikes new and classic. Great for any biker.Food: 3/5
I took my son for a night for the rock and bike festival and we absolutely loved it. Everyone made us feel welcome and we had help I forgot the pump to set up. We felt safe and looked after. Facilities were clean and well stocked. The girls behind the cafe counter could use an attitude check but apart from that, perfect. We will be back :
I have been here a few times to see the Classic Car events. I love these events. They are well attended with vehicles both classic and modern. My favourites are the classic cars. The pub is well known around Yorkshire. It has a friendly atmosphere and it is child-friendly. There is ample parking. Prices are competitive so there is no big hit on the budget.
This is an excellent place if you want to get a proper taste British biking culture. There's lots of vintage paraphernalia around and bikers from all over the UK come to this place to dine in. The food is what you would expect from a homegrown cafe and I really enjoyed the selection of meals that they had there.Food: 5/5
Needs a lot of money spending on this place! Was a fab place in its hay day but has been very run down now and needs a new interior after they fix the roof leaks? Could be a really great place once again! It's fine for the bikers! Their Sunday dinners are very good, but the decor is the pits! So it puts you off going again! I do hope they can fix it up as it could be a great place to eat again! At the moment, it reminds me of the proverbial greasy spoons but not as good or as clean? It appears to be a money pit, good events there from time to time, but the money doesn't appear to be going in the right place, making it a great diner once again! I do hope they can do the rest of the modeling soon, as I recall some great meals and party's here!
