Excellent breakfast. Looked wonderful. I had mashed avocado with poached egg on granary toast - delicious . Our waitress was efficient and very friendly. I'd definitely eat breakfast there again.
So first off the food is delicious, so nice to actually have breakfast before a flight! Shout out to the staff who were dealing with an incredibly busy morning, queue out the door, yet handled everything quickly, efficiently and with a smile. Extra shout out to our waitress Inga who was just a delight- thanks so much!
I didn't feel like there was a great option for food here. Because you have to go through security every time you change terminals, I wasn't willing to go to another terminal during my 7 hour layover. Most of the restaurants were out in the open in the center of the terminal where it is loud and full of people and you feel like you're eating on a stage. I didn't want that many people breathing and spitting and eyeballing my food. This option had some privacy. There were a lot of people working as servers here but the service still wasn't as efficient as the guests would like. Three servers came to the hostess stand while I was waiting to be seated without speaking to me. I simple, "hi, the hostess will be right with you," would've been nice. Instead I felt ignored. Then I was told they were out of 4 things and the list wasn't comprehensive. I ordered a shake later and was informed they also had no ice cream. The shakes were being advertised by a large sign outside the restaurant too. I ordered fish and chips and it was good. I really appreciate all the condiments left on the table. I enjoyed the malt vinegar and salt. I saw the "virgin mint mojito," on the menu and asked if they'd make me a regular mint mojito. They did have rum in another drink, but I was told no. Weird. So, it was an okay experience, not terrible but also not very good.
The modest breakfast weren’t joking when they said modest…. It is £11.50 and the portion size is extremely small and totally unfulfilling. The beans are too sweet and weird tasting and they only give you a tiny singular mushroom. The freshly squeezed orange juice is not nice and I’m confused as to why the cutlery is shaped so weirdly and so small? Only good thing is that service was fast but the waiter messed up various parts of our order .
I am genuinely puzzled why they call this "Proper English Breakfast". Sure, all ingredients are right but there's really nothing proper about it. This mythical breakfast features ONE mushroom, TWO spoonfuls of baked beans, dry sausages that were cooked hours ago and rubber sole stiff bacon. Wine is a good value though. Staff are friendly too, and as a side dish, priced at £3.5, you even get TWO hash browns. In summary, if you want breakfast, go to Pret .. or Boots
Just ate there and tummy is immediately feeling explosive. I had the egg avocado bagel and it also was explosive. I bit down and avocado oozed on everything, everywhere and I only had 1 napkin. The hash browns are crunchy and good!! But everything is overpriced for the ugly interactions of the food and stomach. But very lovely service! And timely seating and serving.
Spuntino absolutely fantastic just the thing when travelling, especially the Full English lovely even the soy dog was awesome well done guys ….!!. Defiantly worth a visit traditional & authentic set the mood & do the visit
Boring!!! I was kind of curious about banana blossom bites burger but the bites were full of beans - didn’t expect that! Chips were good, coleslaw tasted like the chef was scared of salt - please season things! After I POURED salt on it, it was decent Also, half of the menu was not available… Staff was nice and fast
I Loved the food here.. very satisfying And humble service by Markus… cool chap Thank you
A bit less vegan and vegetarian options but a nice place to have breakfast while on the transit.
