We were a party of 34 people. We had a very warm reception from Pam and the staff with warm mince pies and mulled wine. Check in was very efficient. Our meal at night was superb again supervised by Pam and Olivia. Our rooms were spacious and comfortable and the next morning breakfast was very good including excellent provision for our gluten free member. Another member of our group had a wheelchair and she and her husband were very happy with the arrangements for the disabled. We all would have liked to have stayed longer, but we’ll be back!
I stayed here for just one night earlier this week during a business trip. The staff were very friendly and helpful. My room was large, clean and well presented. Some may say slightly dated, but the Bathroom appeared newly refurbished. Unfortunately I didn't stay long enough to try the leisure facilities. The only slightly negative part of my stay was the wait for my food, which was too long. The Restaurant Manager and her team were very good and apologetic as it was not just myself. Once the food arrived, it was excellent and my drink was refunded as a goodwill gesture. If it were not for the approach of the staff this would have been a far more annoying wait. Will definitely stay again when I'm next in the Norwich area.
A really well managed course with immaculate, true-running greens. Challenging rough can lead to ball being 'lost in plain site' as can the plentiful autumn leaves note to self - do not use yellow/orange balls in autumn but this adds to the challenge of the course. A great mix of long flat holes which challenge your club distance and some nice elevated and dog-leg challenges too. An enjoyable course and very picturesque.
Beautiful old Manor house. The entrance is gorgeous. There are some areas that need attention. Curtains and lampshades need to be cleaned or replaced in the bar area. The jacuzzi was not working when we booked but I'm sure it is lovely when it does as it is by the pool. The pool is clean and has a relaxing atmosphere. I had a lovely all over body massage which was soooo nice. The masseuse was professional and friendly. The fire alarm lights in the ceiling keep flashing all night. Thus did not disturb my sleep but could others. The room was spacious and the bathroom was gorgeous. I would definitely go back.
Nice and comfortable rooms, very nice surroundings. But it's so hot around the hotel and dining room, don't know how the staff work in such hot conditions. Also the vegan burger was so hot and spicy the 3 of us on the table could not eat it, it didn't state that it was spicy in any way. So if you don't like spice, avoid the vegan burger.
We had my Daughters wedding here. Lovely day enjoyed by everyone. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars was mainly due to the fact that the Honeymoon suite was so hot it was a hot day & once the room was filled with bridesmaids and mother of the bride and groom it was almost unbearable we had to borrow a second fan from the grooms room Also there were a lot of cigarette butts outside the main entrance I know this is the fault of lazy smokers but maybe someone at the hotel could clean these up?? As it made a lovely building and grounds look a little uncared for.
We spent an excellent weekend at Sprowston Manor on 7th October Our room was superb - clean, well-appointed and plenty of hot water Food was well presented, and the Chef had time to speak to guests about his food and preparation. We had 2 breakfasts, one evening meal and a gala dinner. A great selection and a range of options. The whole team were welcoming and keen to please. This is a real gem of a hotel - lovely grounds, and although not a golfer, would recommend the well-kept greens and service. Our car developed a flat battery on Saturday morning and the reception staff were marvellous in getting the problem resolved with the help of the ground staff. Swimming pool and spa offered first rate facilities, too
Had the best stay here. Fantastic price, gorgeous hotel, large room, lovely pool area and a small gym. It was being decorated for Xmas and looked good already, the Xmas smell in the lobby was amazing. Wished I had stayed more than one night.
Booked stay for my son and his girlfriend. Olivia on reception was extremely kind and helpful. She showed excellent customer service and made their stay extra special. Thank you and Happy New Year Olivia and rest of the staff. Definitely book this hotel again.Rooms: 5/5
Had a night away with dinner and breakfast, £159 and was good value, breakfast was buffet style eat as much as you like. Dinner was also good value and choice. Room was OK nice size and clean, would come back again.Rooms: 5/5
