The name puts me off. Bought fish and chips once, were quite nice, staff friendly. I usually park near there to pick up my grandchildren from school. Shop next door is expensive.
Best fish n chips in Cumbria. Well worth the 40 minute travel every Friday. There are always smiles from the very busy staff. Well done.
If the fish and chips I tried eating today from Sproaty's were the first fish and chips I had eaten, I would never have eaten fish and chips again! Soggy and tasting only of the unpleasant flavour of oil used to cook them. The quantity was OK, sadly not the quality.
