What a lovely church! I'd been slated to preach before now but Covid Blues and exhaustion thereafter stopped me. But when I led, in August 2022, what a joy it was.  It's also one gorgeous building too. If you want peacefulness, calm etc, go in when quiet.  The people are wonderful too.  Many blessings to be had here, especially if you were getting married. Beautifully adorned.

This building and its worshippers brought solace to thousands of working class and aspirational middle class Sheffield people in a century of worship. It has a unique history of devotion and service. My grandfather, Mr William Stewart, was a frequent preacher here for over 50 years and Inbelonged to its youth club in the latter half of the 50s decade. The congregation was the most loving community one could imagine yet they lived humbly and in faith in the area now described as a deprived inner city. The Methodist faith and its traditions of Wesleyan preaching, and music, brought pillars of strength into a community which fought in two world wars, struggled to come to terms with modernism and always saw good rather than evil. I love this church.

Well attended tea mornings for oap's , meeting rooms but not disability friendly

Clean, tidy and relatively modern. Holds different events and businesses within.

We use the facilities for our karate club
