I booked a private, paid appointment on Sept 26th via Patient Access for Oct 3rd 2022. I arrived on time and let them know. After checking they said "oh sorry, we don't get notifications from Patient Access" which meant I wasn't being expected. They ordered the tablets I was supposed to get with my appointment there and then, making it seem they "had" been ordered and that they'd arrive later that day.  The staff clearly didn't know what they were doing and I actually heard them say "I don't know, I've never done this before".  They then gave me a form to fill in, which was about the treatment I was after. The treatment requires a consultation with a professional pharmacist, but they just gave me a consent form and wanted me to sign it without having been seen, even though the form clearly stated just above the signature part: "I have been seen and given advice and recommendations..." and the pharmacist part said "I confirm the patient has been seen and given advice...".  Since the didn't know what to do and the pharmacist was busy giving covid and flu vaccines, they got someone else not a pharmacist to talk to me about the treatment. He said not to worry and that I'd be seen by the pharmacist very soon.  In the meantime, people were walking in for flu and covid vaccines, and being attended straight away. After 40 mins waiting, the pharmacist refused to see me and I was told to come back at the end of the day when they were done with the vaccines.  So, I paid for an appointment, they refused to see me and was asked to sign a consent form without a professional consultation for a medication I've never had before.  In the end I demanded a refund and left the pharmacy.

Our go-to chemist for years. Pleasant. Knowledgeable. As efficient as the NHS allows. Good range of high end toiletries.

Really disappointing service from the pharmacist on couple of occasions. Today I was misinformed twice that the prescription medication is available in the store. It took me some effort to get to the pharmacy, only to find out that the medication is not there- what the pharmacist meant apps was that the drug is in stock with their supplier. When I phoned earlier I explained that I can not easily get to them. Also, I found the pharmacist unfriendly and missing customer service skills on other occasions.

Popped in to Springfield Pharmacy in Harpenden this morning, hoping to get a better response than the indifference we were treated to from another pharmacy. It was refreshing to be greeted with a smile and interest in our request. They were easy to speak to and talked through all of our ootions. I'm definitely going to use them again. What a very friendly, pleasant and helpful bunch.

Sadly we have not had a great experience with this Chemist. We’ve had various prescriptions over the last year and have found that the pharmacist is rather rude. It’s a real shame because we prefer supporting local businesses but feel that the customer service is far from satisfactory :

This Pharmacy is amazing - The staff are so friendly and helpful. They helped me out when my surgrey hadn't sent my script to them, but they were able to give me an emergency script to get me through ! Thank you so much...... I wouldn't go anywhere else !

I have been using the pharmacy alot this year for my daughter and the staff have always been very knowledgeable and kind, I can't thank them enough. They also stock OPI nail varnishes which in my opinion are the best and L'occitane which I love.  Thank you everyone in Springfield.

Had my booster jab here yesterday and the staff couldn't have been more friendly. Nothing was too much trouble, outstanding customer service!

I used to use this pharmacy regularly but no longer as the goods I purchased are no longer stocked. The emphasis now seems on CBD products, derma fillers and beauty products.   I think it is a case of "watch this space"!
