Stayed one night on 3/8/24 the owner was very nice & helpful.. the room was very clean with a on-suit .. they provided a continental breakfast which had a great choice of cereal juice & coffee .. we would definitely stay again when we are next in the areaRooms: 5/5
stayed for a night to go to the submarine museum and the firepower museum located quite close to this property 7 min by a car. The landlady gave warm welcome and was super friendly to show each and every bit in a room. the room is spacious enough for a double bed and a 2-story bunk bed. it also has a rear parking lot, though it is a bit tricky to find a route from a main road. hoping to visit once again:.
I've rated this guest house 5 stars as I've never come across such child friendly, helpful staff. They couldn't do enough for us. We had the family room and found it to be very comfortable and large enough for the 5 of us. Great comfortable beds with our own private bathroom. There was a large selection of foods and drinks on offer. Thank you for your hospitality. We will definitely be returning.
Lovely landlady and friendly staff. I liked the charme of the old house, quiet place. Staff did some laundry for me too. Breakfast simple but with cereals, toast, jam, tea, coffee. Prices are fair. Some 15 min. walk from the marina. Will come again with pleasure.Rooms: 5/5
This is the most nicest, friendliest , cosiest b&bs I stayed at , heather and family are so nice. I stayed here in the year 2015 just coming out of rehab, she was so lovely, giving me great advice, comfty communal lounge ,with honesty bar. I'm so glad to see this place still going & me & my bf who stayed there back then are planning a return.i stayed there a few weeks and even though the room was wanted she allowed me to stay knowing my personal problems. Breakfast was amazing even had my own birthday breakfast & present by her. I often spoke to her about my gran who brought me up, she's unfortunately dead now but heather reminded me of her. There's not a bad thing I can say about this place! My room with the shower in the bedroom was so unique, vintage feeling. She trusted me & heather if you see this. Hope you remember me , Megan & Simon. We look forward to visiting again soon and for the cost...best place in Portsmouth if not the UK for value & friendliness.. X
This guest house is lovely. I have stayed here many times as I often come to Gosport for work. The rooms are spacious, and I have always chosen a room with an en-suite. It is clean, tidy, and well-managed. The breakfasts boast a variety of food including cereals, cold cut meat, bread/toast, juice etc. The guest house is a 15 minute walk from the Gosport Ferry which gives you a quick and hassle free journey to and from Portsmouth, and is close to local amenities and shops. I have always had a fantastic stay. 100% would recommend.
Visited here with my family in December we had four children with us and the family rooms had plenty of space. I Love the honesty bar kids had lots of fun in the community room felt like a home from home. Thank you Heather for making our stay specialRooms: 5/5
Very nice place, run by a lovely old lady. Friendly quiet and very tidy. The guest house is an old Victoria house, some would say it needs a bit of TLC but it's got a unique atmosphere to it. Breakfast served as continental was actually pretty good compared to many other places. I do recommend this place. PS my bed was really comfy
Surprisingly good. Nothing to look at from the outside. Apparently the single rooms are pretty basic so ask for an apartment. They are very nice with a separate lounge/kitchen and good sized bathroom. Good English breakfast provided for an extra 5 GBP but worth it. Owners very friendly too.
Lovely room, extremely comfortable. The staff were the loveliest people I've ever met! The breakfast was spot on and the dog and cat were more than happy too. I don't stay in b&bs often but out of the 3 I have, it's definitely beaten the other 2 by the extremes! Thank you! :
