The first time we came it was absolutely brilliant, super friendly staff, really kind and helpful. Really great food at good prices. They're dog friendly too so our puppy was able to come with us. The second time, their cook wasn't available so they weren't serving food, but they said we could buy fish and chips and come eat it in their dining area!! I bought drinks and we ate. How lovely is that! Definitely above and beyond in my book. Definitely recommend going!!
Lovely food large portions we were well looked after. Good value food
Found it by accident as a place to eat. Food is pub grub. Excellently cooked to order. Surf and turf served with peas and salad and way too many chips! Next time I swapped chips for mash and gravy with my steak my steak was over cooked and it was swapped immediately for a perfectly cooked even bigger steak! No problems. Hubby had Cajun chicken and salad peas and chips. Again cooked fresh and beautiful. The pub itself is a bit dated and drab. It is what it is, a local drinking hole. There is a small restaurant area to eat at the back but you can eat anywhere in the pub and it's dog friendly too! Staff are friendly and courteous. Approachable too! I like this place a lot. Couldn't rate it 5 stars because of it needing a revamp that is all. Prices are very good. Under £7 per meal!
Food was lovely as usual but I wasn't impressed with the gravy this time round there were no meat juices in it
Food took almost an hour to arrive, and was adequate at best, was sat in the dining area with my 13 year old child and the table behind us were swearing constantly, have no desire to return
Great local pub not far from the sea front and town centre, good selection of drinks and a large menu.

Sunday Lunch , Absolutely gorgeous, beef so tender and so plenty! When visiting Withernsea this is the only place to eat
Jesus Christ, the size of the portions. Really well priced, lovely little place and the surf and turf is enough to feed two. Staff were friendly, dogs are allowed in and it was just really lovely. My one complaint was I had a gin I have had before and this time it tasted aniseedy, which I have never had before, so not sure where that came from, but otherwise this place is brilliant.
