Ordered boots online and they arrived in a very damaged box. Needed to return the boots and was told in store that they couldn't be returned due to having no box. No apology for how they arrived, nor realisation that it no longer resembled a box anyway! Apparently not one spare box in the whole store which is totally unbelievable. Avoid.
Went there today at 18.05 and they said the employee said they were closed when I checked in advance here and the closing time is 18.30. I mentioned this to the employe and he stated it's not in his control. So I wonder who is responsible of putting the correct opening times. Really disappointing.
Checkout staff are rude and clearly not suitable for customer service work.
To Dear SPORT DIRECT I want to share my shopping experience with sports direct Fulham north end road. I brought shoes from there less than a month ago and one shoe became broken. The receipt said there is no date. I used the shoe five to six times. I spent fifty five pounds. I went to store and explained to manager. He started looking at me and he said this kind of shoe I brought should be worn only for an hour or thirty minutes. I dont understand what he is trying to say. He said he can give me a discount five pounds if I buy something. I said to him I not wealthy to spend fifty five pounds on shoes every week. I just wanted his help for a refund because sport direct has twenty eight days return policy. He started laughing and shaking his pockets. He told me look I am poorer then you. I just got coins in my pocket. A manager has to be kind and compassionate towards their customers. His behaviour is not professional and insulting. I asked him again can you help about this he said no. He said my time is important leave the store. I am very disappointed about this and I will never go for shop at sports direct again. Many thanks

Service was the worst. The girl at the till was super unprofessional like she was acting like she didn't want to serve at all. We were not happy about the service here at all so we straight away went to another store. Even though it's still a same company, the other store was soooo much better. Staffs were so helpful and friendly unlike ones in this store. I will never go to this store again. Thanks
I went to get skate protection guards this morning. The staff were so welcoming, friendly and helpful. I waited at the door with my dog while one employee went to check the stock. Another employee looked after my dog at the door while I went in to pay with my credit card. Great service. Thanks guys!
Visited there today at around 3:30 and am extremely disappointed as well as second hand embarrassed by the service I got there. Before I begin I’d like to specify that I’m talking about the larger woman who works there and can give more information if replied to if you need help identifying her. I came in to quickly buy some underwear and socks, went to the checkout and was already greeted by what was the most miserable face I’ve ever seen. No hello or anything just picked up my items removed the tags as she scanned it and didn’t even carefully place them down just threw them realistically. Once I had paid she just went to walk to walk away then saw I was still standing there so by this point I just put the items in my bag since I wasn’t offered one. She then said “take your receipt” instead of handing me it kindly. Not even “would you like your receipt” or “here’s your receipt” just TELLING me to take the receipt?! I then came to realisation I had bought the wrong product let her know that I wanted to swap for different color and she miserably said “well we will have to get that refunded and start again then” as she sluggishly walked back towards the til. Despite her rude mannerisms after paying for it a second time I still said politely “thank you” and was smiley the whole time and she didn’t even respond to say you’re welcome or goodbye. This type of behaviour is not only embarrassing for such a big company, but is also hostile and I can promise you now if it was me on the wrong day or someone else there to experience that there will be a massive problem from her actions soon to come! Her behaviour was so disgusting I’m not settling for leaving it here. I will be contacting the headquarters in Shirebrooke to make sure they’re aware of her behaviour and evidently by the 2.9* review for what’s meant to be a big company, a revamp in your staff or at least her gone is strongly recommended! On the brighter side I am happy with the products I have bought - but this shop is in urgent need of a self checkout if they have staff as miserable as that. Thank you.
Ordered a size 5.5 trainers online and a size 4 came in a 5.5 box. Have been in contact with customer service who have not sent out the correct size. What a terrible service all round.
Edited- I have removed the id number of the manager in question to save her from any further embarrassment. Asked for a refund. The manger that originally dealt with me refused to give me her name. She gave me her ID number instead ******. She asked for my name and when I refused she said that she would look through the cctv and then go through Google. Absolutely shocking. I'm left with severe anxiety. Still in shock now. I feel bullied. I see that other reviews left are of a similar nature. Can't believe this is being allowed to continue. The second manager did give me the refund because it was in my rights, to which the first manager said he would get into trouble for this. Please could you make sure that this does not happen?
