Bought a swimsuit no problems with that, went back to holiday home assistant forgotten to take off security tag rang to let them know assistant said sorry you’ll just have to bring it back. It would have been nice if the sorry sounded a bit more meaningful as I don’t have a car and it meant getting a bus more expense to have it removed.
Never in all my life have I met staff as ignorant and lazy as the staff in this store! You get nothing but attitude if you make a complaint, and god forbid you ask them to get a smaller/bigger size or to pack your bag for you. Christ anyone would think you were asking them to do a days work on a building site!! The lot of them need sacking!!
Staff looked miserable seemed everything too much bother
Came to bring a item back that had a small hole, all tags still on and receipt to be told WOULDNT change it because not so bad! No way was this item not getting changed and the woman’s attitude was disgusting. Then she went on to tell me my daughter had previously changed a coat when she hadn’t! Reporting this to head office as disgraceful service. You can even change things in a charity shop with no problem but to get this kind of attitude and service from a main department is totally unacceptable! I would post NO stars if I could.
Absolutely disgusted about the service received. Ilike l was being followed around the shop, as if l wanted to steal. The staff that was on the check out was so rude, l felt like leaving the few things l had purchased. I think it's high time the management teach the staff about diversity.
Visited to buy trainers and a very friendly, helpful young girl, no older than 19-20 served me throughout, until I found a pair I looked in the right size & went to pay. It was refreshing to see such a nice, yet professional manner, especially from someone as young - a promising future... 1st time I went out my way to locate a store manager, just to pass on my compliments. I believe good feedback is as valuable as any bad, and this case was deserving. Thanks :
Always lots to buy, cheap t shirts and socks that are actually big enough. Even items not in stock assist told us nearest XL store that we could click and collect from. Very helpful friendly staff under pressure as very busy and very hot. Def use again when passing this way.
Absolutely disgusted with the service received from sports direct. Recently purchased a pair of Karimoor walking boots , one boot appears to be falling apart after less then 2 months . Contacted online chat to be told to return to store. Went to store who refused to return them stated they would be named and shamed by their head office if they returned them as they were clearly worn - well yes ! They were worn as walking boots should be worn !!! Told me to contact SD through Facebook or email who then told me to return them to store ! They obviously didn’t even bother to read my emails !!!!!!!
Extremely poor service here. Had to search for an assistant and then found three chatting around a till. I asked for some help with football boots, I was told to go back to the boot section and find an assistant there. I did go back to the boot section against my better judgement and again there was no one there. I think I'll shop elsewhere.
Went to buy new trainers for my husband and a coat for myself. Obviously sizes vary from brand to brand. So like most people. I tried it on. Without a word of warning this assistant came over. Erm hope you are having that. You're not allowed to try. I was made to feel very uncomfortable. My husband went to put the jacket back on the rack. Oh you can't put it back I have to take it off the shelves. So we just walked out. I know £100 isn't alot to them but imagine doing that to 10 people a day. Big loss. I understand that there is rules with covid. But come on. We need to try before we buy. Customer satisfaction. Not.
