Cheap and cheerful items, but the shop is lacking staff. Took about 10 minutes to get the attention of someone to let them know the checkouts where unattended.

awful shop,,waited for about 10 minutes in the shoe section for help,no one about,,wandered to the counter to one of the staff,i asked for 3 prs of trainers in the size i had selected,,he just stared at me for a few seconds then blurted out,,sorry i work on the tills,,i just dropped them on the floor and walked out,,really poor,,no actually, very very poor service!,,Update,,i actually went in this morning yet again,,a bit weird i know but i thought id time it,,,12 minutes to get someone to help me,,, then another 8 minutes to be told sorry we dont stock your size,,10s??popular size or what?

Was very disgusted with the customer service at the Whiteley Village store. Was looking to buy a pair of trainers but needed a bigger size, so asked a shop assistant who replied that she couldn't help and to find someone else. Went to a second shop assistant and asked if they were able to help me to which she looked at me, blanked me and walked off. I put the trainer back, informed Sports Direct that they had lost my custom, to which they were not bothered, and left the shop.

After few years of shopping in Sport Direct we are very disappointing with customer service in Whiteley shop. We bought school boots for our daughter .She wore them once just for around 1hr and I have to go to school with old ones for exchange... Why? Boots in shop has been fine but after short walk and short use,they hurt her on both feet?! Bleeding feet is not what you expecting from new school shoes! We try to exchange them for new ones,different model and more expensive(faulty £17 new £38) but staff has been rude and in their opinion is not manufacturer fault-and we have no rights for return or exchange.No,we have to expecting that before we buy -shoes can hurt you and its your fault.Otherwise how you can find its not for you if not wearing them? Don't trust information about 30 days RETURN POLICY FOR UNWANTED ITEMS-in this shop it's just piece of paper on the till-nothing else...Shame on You SportDirect Whiteley! BTW girls school shoes KANGOOL-watch out!
