If you have a huge appetite? Then this is definitely the place for you.nCopious amounts of food that will turn you into an Alchemist, concocting various meals never seen before. Honestly my Sons put some odd choices together but they all enjoyed their meals. No idea how they can keep refilling their plates but they get their money’s worth, for sure.nnThe food is super tasty if you can figure out where the food is that you like, as the food area is so vast and expansive. Check what others are eating and ask them where they got it from? they love thatnnWhen you’re about to take your last piece of food off of your plate, it disappears as if by magic. Someone appears from nowhere, like the Flash and no more plate…nnFeels like There’s Army mess hall seating where you share a table with strangers. Long lines of tables to fit more people inside but not much fun trying to get back to your seat without tipping your food over someone you don’t know.nwas all these people in our car?nnOverall it’s worth trying and going every so often, just so you can make a meal from food, from all over the world, to confuse your taste buds and transcend them to another reality.nnIf you book a table, you will jump the queue, when the doors open. They will walk along the queue asking if anyone has booked a table. definitely book beforehandnnOverall recommended
We had a great time at Spoon World Buffet & Bar in Chatham! The food was tasty with a wide variety of options to suit everyone in the family, and the atmosphere was lively and enjoyable. The restaurant was very busy when we went Saturday evening, so I definitely recommend pre-booking a table to avoid disappointment, as there was quite a queue outside for those without reservations. Overall, it was a fun family dining experience and we’ll happily return!nnThey need to improve their payment strategy as it a bit messy. There is a parking lot close by but I was told it’s always pretty busy.
We visited for the first time yesterday.. it is what it says on the tin.. it is buffet food, it could have been sitting under lights and kept warm for a while.. there is a huge selection of foods, including chinese, indian, pizzas, pastas and sushi.. there was even a little roast dinner station, but was packet yorkshires, tinned peas and carrots etc, i obviously would not expect freshly cooked foods, made to order foods!nThey did have someone making crepes to order.. and they had a variety of puddings available, such as a chocolate fountain, ice cream and cones and cakes, jellys and eton mess.. it was what we exoected for a cheap lunch out.
Wednesday evening visitnnThis was interesting.nnWhen you arrive, you book in and pay as you'd expect. if you want to buy refillable drinks, you then have to go round to the bar seperately to pay for them rather than when you first pay which I found a bit odd.nnThe drink selection was ok although didn't have my preference Pepsi, there is Cola though.nnThe food was ok, I can't fault the food itself beyond the expected affects of the food sitting in warmers Chewy onion rings, dried out meats etcnnI did note a group of open buckets on the back wall full to overflowing of what looked like cooked chicken. The wall these were against also had the fly traps on them see picnnI consider this questionable Hygiene at best. A hazard at worst.nnI can't rate the service, beyond how quickly they take empty plates from your table, they are quick at that!nnTheres the usual mess around the floor which you'll always get in self service places.nnThere is plenty to choose from and plenty of time to eat, just don't expect top notch food or you will be dissapointed.nnI do not intend to go back as I don't rate the food highly enough.
Spoons is such a wonderful place to eat with such diverse selection of food that was all so amazing. Would definitely recommend
