Had lunch here today with a friend, lovely fresh salad with added extras, very tasty and good value. Great selection of pastries and cakes and good coffee. Staff were very pleasant and helpful, service was excellent and banter with Gill had us having a good laugh, would definitely recommend and will definitely be going back.Food: 5/5

We have been coming to Sponge Kitchens for years for their wonderful baguettes. I love the Bacon, Chicken and Spinach filling. I have to take away a star due to the inconsistency of the amount of filling we get. Sometimes the baguettes are heaving with filling but lately they haven’t been as full. For £6 I do expect lots of yummy filling.
Disappointing. Have been coming here for years and always very positive however arrived today for lunch at 2:28 and was briskly informed by the middle aged lady behind the sandwich counter that food finished at 2:30. All sandwich ingredients had already been packed away.Food: 1/5

Disappointing quality of cakes, doughnuts and pastries considering the high price they charge for each item. I’d be happy to pay the price, if they offered a premium product for the premium price.
This is the best bakery that I know! Multiseed bread is my nr1 for the last 15 years, very delicious hot cross buns... raspberry and apple donuts ... sandwiches... coffee... cakes...oh I could live there
