Genuinely the worst company ever. I moved house a couple of months ago, and they were completely incompetent when I tried to be added to my house's existing split the bills account. I spent hours on the phone to split the bills, and everyone I spoke to made mistakes and gave me contradictory responses. I was told at least 5 times that the issue had been resolved when this was far from the case. A huge amount of errors were made by the company's incompetent staff. Furthermore, once it was finally resolved 2 weeks later, I was assured by the manager I would receive a voucher as compensation which had been sent to my house. This, of course, never arrived. All in all, a terrible, unprofessional company. Don't waste your money with them.
Great option for students. Really convenient. All you do is sign up and they do the rest. Me and my housemates went for unlimited bills, which costs us £80 a month, which is pretty expensive, but for not needing to worry about it every month it’s worth it
Terrible company, promised and charged us for faster wifi in our contract than we were ever even able to receive and then refused to compensate the difference. In response to the reply given, no one reached out to me, this reply given is a copy paste job and is testimony of how bad of a company they are do not use them ever please.
1. Because of the company's own fault, we weren’t able to use any internets the first month and they refused to initiate us partial refunds even tho at the beginning they said they could. 2. I did not hear back from them for a long time after sending them several emails I have checked the junk emails.
horrendous. took our money but did not pay suppliers so we had constant debt letters and even debt collectors coming to the door. the customer service was vile! people laughing down the phone at us and offering no help. do not use this company!
Very convenient service. I am thankful that the chore of paying bills is being done by someone else. The instructions to set up an account and start using the service is quite clear. Although, it can be somewhat confusing at times and the custom service being hard to reach on certain days, it was a pleasant experience nonetheless
I am a student and I use split the bills every year for my university accommodation as I live in house with my two other friends. It makes the bill process very handy and easy and there is no stress when it comes to splitting the bills or organising it. Although it is quite pricey it is worth it.
I really liked split the bills because it makes life easier in managing and making payments for utilities. With splitting the bills you are relieved from the responsibility of individually paying for various utilities separately each month which makes it easier to manage .
Really easy service to use, does all the work for you. Fairly pricey but saves a lot of hassle!
Possibly one of the worst dealings I’ve had with a company. First of all without warning they removed gas and electricity from our package and reduced the price by £5 weekly. Our gas and electricity together were going to cost around £16 so effectively meant they were asking us to pay £11 for nothing. Following this we attempted to cancel our package and were told a cancellation team would get in touch with us. I’m sure you won’t be surprised no such thing has happened. After over a week of phone calls and emails with little correspondence or any mention of a cancellation team our tenancy date arrived. At this point some of my housemates were charged without any hesitation and the rest of us bombarded with emails about how our direct debits had not been received and threatened with fines. None of us had altered our direct debits in any way as we assumed that the “cancellation team” would get in contact at some point in time. Which again did not happen. I feel it shows the philosophy of this company, that they are very happy to send automated emails to students demanding payment for a package they no longer are continuing with. But without fail take 1+ day to respond to emails and leave you on hold for 30+ minutes. Could not recommend more choosing a different company to go through for student bills. There are many alternatives which may be £1 a week or so more expensive a week but I ensure you that this is completely worth it for the trustworthiness and customer service aspect I’m sure they bring over this disgrace of a company.
