I visited with my 5 years old during May heat wave Tuesday, after bank holiday madnes. We had an amazing time and it saved me from the hot weather! We had a couple of rides and the rest of the time just stayed in the little kids area.nnLockers and showers were fine. Despite the weather I didn't feel that the park is too full. Definitely coming again.nnSmall compact local park. Do not build your expectations too high, greate for a local day out and in our case was brilliant value for money! £23ish for 2 of us for 3 hours of fun! Then we had kids deal pizza for £8.5 in pizza express, parking is for free. So amazing day for less than £40 during school holiday bargain!!
I took my daughter to Splashdown to meet up with friends and their daughters, and the girls had a fantastic time, as always. We chose the 3-hour session, which was the perfect amount of time to enjoy everything. The staff were friendly, the park was well organised, and we’ll definitely be back. Highly recommended!
Our kids really enjoyed their visit to Splashdown in Poole. There are plenty of fun activities and slides to keep children entertained, making it a great family day out.nnHowever, the indoor areas look quite old and could benefit from some refurbishment and better maintenance. It would be great to see investment in more modern facilities and technology to bring the venue up to the standard of newer European water parks. Overall, a fun experience for the kids, but the facilities could definitely be improved.
The slides are awesome but the check-in is soooo slow, 20 minutes even with prepaid tickets. They need to improve the door system. Also making non swimmers pay is shocking. I'm only there because my kids are young and i need to be onsite. So I'm forced to pay to sit in an overcrowded cafe that has child sized chairs and wet/muddy floor.
Been twice whilst on holiday. The staff are friendly and the park is up to date building wise. Id say two hours is all you need here before it gets tedious as it's not a huge water park. But rides were good and I don't think they can do anything else to improve the place given the building space they have. Got to remember it's the UK not Australia so don't expect it to be a mile wide.
