We wanted to use the splash zone with flumes etc but it was closed. I wonder how much business they are losing with children wanting to go after school during the summer months. As a retired teacher I appreciate holidaying during term time but expect to experience attractions while there.
It's a great facility, but over crowded ... To many in the pool at one time. Staff are very nice and friendly. Paid parking too which is kind of a joke.
Just spent the last 3 hours here with my son and 6 and he loved every minute of it and would have stayed all day if he could! Was really impressed with how well all the lifeguards were especially on the yellow slide, very attentive to the needs of children coming out of the rubber rings and was over immediately to help them up. All so friendly also and only cost us £30! Thanks very much will return again very soon. Monday 14th April, 11:20-2:30pm.
Went on Saturday for the 1st time was quite impressed by the pools & it wasn't too busy... my little one needed the toilet so I got him out the pool to find the ladies toilets in an absolute mess i was in total shock every single toilet was covered in poo over the seats & walls tissue everywhere...there was dirty sanitary towels just left on the floors I couldn't believe what I had walked into it was absolutely filthy I went to inform a member of staff they said they get them cleaned i asap took at least 30 minutes before they was cleaned. The showers was just as bad with plasters , nappies , & shampoos & shower gels left all over the floor... The cafe area was the same food all splatted to the floor no one seem bothered about cleaning any of it.. apart from the dirt & mess my boys had the best time & really enjoyed the splash park 1 would say it's a little expensive especially for the dirt I seen...
It was OK. Do I think the price was worth it.... probably not. Kids enjoyed themselves which is all that matters. All the young staff work hard. Well done to the poor guy who had to clean up, what I'm telling myself was a chocolate brownie left in the showers. Areas kept clean and didn't seem to busy. Easy to get on the slides.
