I went here because the pool I usually go is with works.nThis pool is so dirty, was even black things on the floor of the kids pool, all around the tiles you can see a line of dirt, my son kept falling because the floor tiles were slimy, I went at 11am so wasn't that late and the pool had pieces of chocolate wrapper and chips bags, the changing rooms was even worse, none of the showers work besides the disabled one, was so dirty, full of hair and papers, no one gives a clean between classes and general swim, left very disappointed. Definitely not worthy the 6.50£ per person.
Went to a family fun session. Got told either half an hour left of current 'session's come back at 11am. Which we had no problem with however I have visited Robinson pool and Waendel pool in Wellingborough and did not have to book nor got told to 'wait until sessions started. The sessions were also two family fun sessions in a row so I didn't really understand this.nThe showers were just absolutely poor. Dirty and just bad quality.nThe pool itself was great but my daughter was having trouble with the loud water fountain so I wanted to take her further away towards the deepr end but the lifeguard told me not to go further than half way which I do understand but my daughter was visibly upset so a little compassion would have been nice.
We went to this pool for the first time the other day, AMAZING! So much fun but there are a few things that let it down… toilets! The ones before the changing room STINK!!! please have regular checks/cleans as these were awful! Showers….. pointless! The water was extremely hot and just trickled out…. Took so long to wash hair and you can’t have a proper shower here as it’s communal so you just end up covered in suds! The staff were very good but I didn’t see too many older staff… just seemed to be the younger generation… pool was incredible and the staff made it so much more fun with the sprinklers etc! They opened the slide up for a short time too so that was fab…
It’s ok but it has weird funky bits floating in the pool
We were cautious because we read a lot of negative reviews but we actually had a great time and had no issues at all with cleanliness. The main pool is huge with additional shallow areas available for little ones. The water is quite cool but once you get moving around you soon get warm. Some pools have reduced the temperature to save money and to avoid the risk of complete closure. The poolside staff were attentive, humerous and professional.The slide and giant water sprays were working and monitored by staff. Reception staff were helpful with directions and information although one lady did seem very distracted by her phone.
