Spirit Health Club

This club is getting worse and worse every day. I have rejoined last September after the pandemic. There is at least one thing faulty in every visit. The Jacuzzi has not been working for almost two months. Sometimes it is the swimming pool not working for days. People are usually crammed in the functioning facility e.g., the sauna for today, which makes it almost impossible to use. The change room is amost always a mess. Dirty wet floor with lots of towels and slippers left by the hotel residents. Most of the lockers are broken and left open so it is very likely you hit your head and get injured. Most lockers don't have keys so you will sometimes need to leave your belongings in an open locker. Showers are dirty as well with no shampoo or shower gel most of the time. You will need often to queue as guests take time to learn how to sort out the mess. Some showers don't even have handles. The club charges £40 a month per person which is more than double the amount you would pay in other clubs but what you get here is much less. I highly recommend you AVOID this place. I am planning to cancel my membership soon.

OK went out on a spa day with an afternoon tea. Firstly visited the Spirit Health Club. The staff was friendly and helpful. The lockers and changing room was clean and in good order. The gym had good clean equipments and wasn't that busy so was able to try most of the equipments without waiting. On to the sauna and steam room, which was nice and as expected. The jacuzzi was a little busy and as expected popular but managed to squeeze myself in . The water was nice and warm, it was activated for 10 mins with 5 mins break. The only downside was the swimming pool which was rather cold.

Not too busy and big. Love the friendliness of the staff. Wish the gym had more machine options and was slightly bigger

These photos are very misleading. We went for the day for a birthday treat and were so disappointed. Staff stood around chatting to each other rather than trying to help so you felt like a nuisance when you had any enquires - receptionist didnt even tell us the way to get in to the spa and little information was given to how things worked. The pool was cold so everyone was in the over crowarded jacuzzi. Overall everything was a little old, run down or smelly! This is not a luxury spa or even a pleasant one! The only good thing about this day out was the treatments we received off Chloe - who was amazing at her job and lovely. Dont bother wasting your money on anything else avaliable here - what a joke.

After work gym/swim spot for some of the local business' at Wellington square and Wellington place. Very small pool less than 2m deep throughout and gym. Has some parking facilities and friendly guy on reception.

Deana did a mud massage how good was she friendly professional and a genuine nice person definitely recommend her.

Staff lovely especially Erin made me feel comfortable and made joining the gym smooth and easy

Good facilities,I enjoyed every session.
