I recently had a total hip replacement under the care of surgeon Mr Kempanna. I was nervous as I have never had an operation nor been in hospital before. Mr Kempanna's manner inspired confidence which was proved when I had the op.nThe care was amazing. The surgery was straightforward, with a beautifully sewn wound which healed within two weeks. He attended me several times in the afterwards and could not have been more helpful. I would have no hesitation in having my other hip done by him.nI would particularly like to mention the night nurse Francis, who was there every night, always available. He was calm, reassuring, really knowledgeable and informative. Dealt with a reaction to the spinal extremely promptly, effectively and calmly. Just what you need at this vulnerable time. I felt completely safe throughout my stay.
I would like to thank Professor Aali Sheen for taking me on for a hernia operation and for carrying out a successful operation. The next thank you is for the staff of Manchester Spire hospital who looked after me from the 11th October to the 12th October 2025. I experienced the best care I ever had. The moment I arrived for the day of the surgery I was greeted with a smile and politeness by the reception staff and they explained what was going to happen etc. I was led to the triage room and each healthcare professions that came in were fantastic. I was incredibly nervous but I felt I was in good hands. Like I said the room I stayed in was incredible. The food and the after care was beyond belief. I felt very grateful and appreciated and recovery is 100%. I don't want to mention particularly depts and names as everyone should be praised so I thank you from the bottom of my heart. Yes, I would highly recommend Manchester Spire hospital.
I recently had a hip surgery with Professor Max Fehily, assisted by Dr Sinha, and I honestly couldn’t have been in better hands. The surgery itself went really well, and throughout the whole process I felt completely reassured by their skill and professionalism.nnThe hospital and its facilities were excellent – clean, modern, and very well organised, which immediately gave me confidence before my surgery. Everything felt calm and professional from the moment I arrived.nnThe aftercare was truly exceptional. Nurse Bumi who was looking after tmw thought the night due to some additional needs was absolutely amazing. Kind, attentive, and genuinely caring, she made me feel safe and comfortable just hours after major surgery. Nothing was ever too much trouble for her, and she went above and beyond to make sure I was looked after. The rest of the nursing team were also brilliant and made a huge difference to my recovery.nnEven the food was great, which was such a nice surprise and really helped with the recovery process.nnI felt so well cared for from start to finish. Huge thanks to Professor Fehily, Dr Sinha, Nurse Bumi, and the whole team – you were fantastic.
Meena & Oscar were lovely. Very helpful and friendly. The experience itself was all good, but I was disappointed not to have had any music or radio to listen to as I have had in other MRIs. I had 3 MRIs done, so it was a long hour without anything but the machine to listen to!
