An exceptional bike shop with none of the arrogance of youth I find in many bike shops. Really friendly staff, all of whom seem to be good mechanics. They fixed my Moulton touring bike TSR 27 even though they were full and busy. Even though I'm based in the next town Chippenham I'll be back here whenever I next need a bike. They don't sell many bikes but those I saw on offer look really good -- I particularly fancy the Dahon folding bike for £350.
Since being told about Spindles a few years ago, they're my first point of call for all things to do with my bikes - servicing, repairs, odds n sods, hints and tips Done me proud today by turning around a fix and repair of my MTB same day, which means I can confirm joining a ride this weekend. Top notch, quality and friendly service. Highly recommended
Social distancing efforts were excellent, I felt very safe. My bike was serviced much earlier and at a cheaper price than any other local shop could provide! Extremely happy with the work that Spindles carried out! Thanks again!

Helpful staff, decent prices Although you may find parts cheaper online and a good location. Only downside is the size of the shop and that they don't stock a great amount of parts such as mountain bike stems, pedals or bars but you can't really complain. Overall a good little Bike shop.
Fantastic bike shop situated on the pedestrianised high street. Took bike in for service, the customer service was friendly and helpful, bike service was only £30 although I had a few extras that needed doing so great value. I shall use them for all my biking needs from now on, brilliant.
A super local bike shop - providing excellent servicing and friendly informative opinions. Top notch! addition - Just had bike serviced and sorted after a long winter of commuting. Spindles was quick, inexpensive and basically excellent. Don't go to halfords. Go to Spindles.
I've visited Spindles Bikes with two different bikes and both times have received excellent service and great repairs at a very reasonable price. This is not my nearest bike shop but well worth travelling the extra distance for peace of mind and quality repairs and servicing.
Didn't actually visit the shop. Was out with my cousin cycling today. His new bike is from cycle republic a subsidiary of Halfords which means despite being a nice bike it's been put together without attention to detail. Unfortunately I didn't catch his name today but the owner of this bike shop arrived on Burnham Road shortly after my cousins bike chain fell of the small chairing and got caught between it and the bikes frame. The man after extensive effort managed to get the chain out and was armed with gloves so his hands were not oily like mine. He even went on to adjust the limiting screw which Halfords had said they would do but clearly hadn't bothered! so the issue wouldn't happen again. All in all a top bloke and I'm sure he will do the best work on your bike.
