Spice Tower

The restaurant looks lovely however we never got the chance to eat due to being lied to by two members of staff on the phone. It was apparently fine for us to come in and use our voucher we received as a gift and we booked the table and looked forward to our meal. However once we had arrived after crossing from the other side of Stockport with our 1 year old we were told in an very abrupt manner in front of other diners that we could not eat there at all. It was obvious on the other customers faces that they felt sorry for us and were uncomfortable with the situation we were put in. Whilst trying to shift the blame on to ourselves the error on the phone was acknowledged by the owner and admitted their mistake however continued to shout at me and my partner like we were children. Such a shame but i would NOT recommend this restaurant on the fact that the owners have very little respect for it's customers

By far the best Indian restaurant round here and they deliver too!! The lads are excellent at making you feel welcome and will tailor the dishes to suit your taste buds so don't be afraid to ask. Highly recommended by us

We eat here quite regularly. The food is always prepared and presented to a high standard. It is unfailingly delicious, the Machli Rosti (Cod) is my particular highlight. The atmosphere is relaxed an inviting and the staff friendly and attentive, without being overly interfering. Highly recommended for families or those requiring a more intimate experience.

Nice place with very courteous staff. Food was very nice and full of flavour. Good selection of beers here too including some good Indian draft. I'd certainly come here again.

Been going to spice tower for around 5 years and have eaten both in the restaurant and take away....until last night that is!!! Ordered our favourites through Just Eat and spent about £30 for a takeaway! Lamb tikka Granny Madras...awful! The meat was black around the edges where it had been over cooked so dry to eat and so hard I was unable to cut it with a sharp knife!! 2 garlic naans were also so hard that they were virtually inedible and had to cut out the middle to eat as it was so hard! All the food was luke warm which for a chicken sizzler is bad and then to add insult we had salad and youghat dip but no popodoms which we have always had as a gratuity for our loyal custom. Deeply disappointed and embarrassed as we had this as a celebration for our family from New Zealand! Certainly won’t return! ☹️
