The best Indian takeaway by far. Great service and delivery. Never been disappointed with what ever I have ordered. And I can assure I’ve work my way through most of the menu.

What a fiery introduction to Barnstaple Indian takeaways this was. A few years back I visited a good friend who lives in the area, me being a well travelled curry loving metropolitan professional he was keen to show off the best takeaway the town had to offer. I admit, hubris got the better of me and upon ordering my 'extra spicy' Jalfrezi I uttered those, now infamous, last words "it's Devon, how hot can it possibly be?". It arrived, I had three spoonfuls and then gave up, beads of sweat on the forehead, tongue on fire, pride left in tatters. Let this be a lesson to all of you 'big men' out there. Order with caution. Spice of India has the upper hand.

Good standard curry, I had chicken tikka dhanzak, was delicious. Rice and side dish was good but Naan bread lost them a star.
